Today’s video is about placement control and hitting cross court.
If you’re being pulled out wide, don’t go cross court. Let the ball tell you where to hit it. Being pulled out wide and trying to hit it cross court means you’d have to chicken wing it or flip the racket. Your body simply isn’t in the best position for you to hit a strong shot.
Being early screams cross court. Late is down the line. Watch where you drop the ball when you practice. If you’re practicing going cross court, drop the ball out in front.
And don’t forget to reset after each shot. You’ve got to move your feet to setup for the next ball.
